Delete a Commitment Change Order

Overview

Approved and ERP synched Commitment Change Orders can not be deleted.  

Steps

There are different ways to delete Change Orders for a Commitment: 

View all Commitment Change Orders and then search for the Commitment number or sort by the Commitment number to see the ones specific to the Commitment

1)     From the Projects Navigation menu, select Commitments.

The Commitments List appears. (see Commitments List – Layout and Navigation)

2)     Click on Change Orders in the navigation menu.

The Commitments – List of all Change Orders appears

3)     Type the Commitments number in the Search box to narrow the list to just those Change Orders that match the entry

OR

Click on the Commitments column to sort by the Change Order number and see all the associated Change Orders.

4)     Hover the cursor on the Commitment

5)     Click the View Change Order button to the right of the row (blue box with right arrow).

OR

4)     Right click on a Commitment

5)     Select View from the pop-up menu.

OR

Double click on the Commitment anywhere on the Commitment row.

6)     Click the Delete button at the bottom of the form.

7)     A prompt appears confirming that this change order is to be deleted. Click Delete to confirm.

 
Go to the specific Commitment and view the associated Change Orders.

1)     View or Edit an existing Commitment as outlined in View or Edit an existing Commitment.

The View/Add/Edit Commitments form appears.

2)     From the navigation menu options, click Change Orders.

3)     Right click on a Commitment Change Order

4)     Select Delete from the pop-up menu.

5)     A prompt appears confirming that this change order is to be deleted. Click Delete to confirm.
