Commitment Change Orders – Overview

 

Overview

The List of all Change Orders for all Commitments is accessed via the Commitments List. See Commitments List – Layout and Navigation. 

This form can display all Commitment Change Orders for the project and then the list can be searched or the filter added or changed. 

The filtered/sorted list can be exported to an Excel spreadsheet. 

From this form, existing Change Orders can be viewed, edited and deleted.

 

The top and bottom of the form is the same navigation, format and options as the Commitments List – Layout and Navigation. 

The row below the form navigation text menu options is where the list of Commitment Change Orders can be searched and/or where filters can be set to show only Commitment Change Orders with certain status. 

The form can have its default settings modified to:

·       show only Commitment Change Orders with certain statuses when it is first opened (the filter can be changed after as required)

·       Show different columns of information

·       Display a certain number of rows per page (this can be changed after as required) 

From this form, the Commitment Change Orders can be viewed via the View/Add/Edit Commitment Change Order form. (and from that form can be edited or deleted, emailed or exported to a PDF).

 

Steps

Search for a Change Order

Search for a specific Change Order by typing in the Search box (see General Navigation for Lists). The list will be narrowed to show only those Change Orders that match what was entered.

 

To filter the list:

To apply a Filter to the list of Commitment Change Orders or change an existing filter:

1)     Click on the Filter box at the top left of the form. The list can be filtered by:

·       Status

2)     Click on the Status to filter by. A check mark will appear next to the selection.

3)     Click on it again to toggle it off.

4)     Click outside of the Filter box when the filters are applied to remove display of the filter list.

To change the default settings of what information is displayed when this form opens

To change the default settings of what information is displayed when this form opens,

1)     Click the Form Settings button (the black gear button on the top right of the form).

2)     See Modify the Commitment Change Order form settings.

 

View or Edit an existing Commitment Change Order

1)     Hover the cursor on the Commitment Change Order

2)     Click the View Change Order button to the right of the row (blue box with right arrow).

OR

1)     Right click on a Commitment Change Order

2)     Select View from the pop-up menu.

OR

Double click on the Commitment Change Order anywhere on the row.
