Display
The display of Change Request Schedule of Values Line Items and Contract Change Orders Schedule of Value Line Items will reflect whether or not the Line Item was created from a Change Request.
Note* Some functionality for the Line Item is also not applicable for both the Change Request and the Contract Change Order when its created from a Change Request (even if its in a Status that enables editing).
When a Line Item from a Change Request Schedule of Values has been created on a Contract Change Order Schedule of Values, the following outlines how the display is for:
- Contract Change Orders
- Change Requests
Note* This help is for the Grouped List View (see Change Requests - Multiple Lists and Views for more information). For information on the Simple List View, see Create Change Request Line Items on Commitments (Simple List View) - Display.
Contract Change Order
The Contract Change Order Schedule of Values Line Item will have a blue asterisk before the Line Item number to indicate it is created from a Change Request.
The following is an example of the display when the Contract Change Order is in a Status that enables editing.

The following is an example of the display when the Contract Change Order is in a Status that does not enable editing.

In either case and regardless of the Contract Change Order Status, the Line Item copied from the Change Request Schedule of Values can not have the Parent/Sub (if applicable), the Cost Code or the Cost Type changed. Nor can it be edited to un-associate it from the Change Request Schedule of Values Line Item.
To un-associate it from the Change Request Schedule of Values Line Item, the Line Item on Contract Change Order would need to be deleted.

The Change Request Schedule of Values Line Item will display a
green check mark and the Contract Change Order to indicate it has been created on a Contract Change Order Schedule of Values Line Item.
The Contract CO is display only and not editable and neither is the rest of the information as the Change Request is Approved and can't be changed back to a Status that is editable once at least one Line Item it has been assigned to a Contract Change Order. However, the Contract Change Order Schedule of Values can be edited and the Line Item deleted and that would remove the association from the Change Request Line Item.
The blue text can be clicked on to go to the Contract Change Order View/Edit form.
The following is an example of the display.
