Financial Markup

Financial Markups on a Schedule of Values are optional and are setup for each individual Schedule of Values by the Project Manager (and may also be copied from Contracts or Committments).

They may be used to automatically apply a markup to each line item such as overhead or administration and/or they are sometimes used to automatically apply sales taxes (see Job Costing - Sales Tax for more information).

If Financial Markups are turned on for the Schedule of Values, the settings for the Financial Markup determine if they display for

  • A column on each line item
  • OR just as a total at the bottom of the Schedule of Values
  • OR as a separate line item

Regardless of how they display, they are automatically applied/calculated on the Schedule of Values and are non-editable.
