Release Retainage for Payable Invoice in Acumatica
Overview
After pushing a payable invoice with retainage withheld to Acumatica, you may eventually want to release that retainage later. For Acumatica integrations, this is done by using the Release ERP Retainage button on any synced payable invoice that has retainage withheld.
Release Retainage
The invoice you are releasing retainage for must be in a released status in Acumatica
- Navigate to the invoice which has retainage withheld on it that you would like to release.
- If this invoice has retainage that can be released in Acumatica, you will have see button labeled Release ERP Retainage. If you do not see this button, this invoice does not have retainage to release to Acumatica.
- Click Release ERP Retainage. This will send the invoice to be approved in ERP admin.
- If you have permission to approve in ERP Admin, you may now navigate to ERP Admin to approve the retainage release action for this payable invoice. Once approved, the retainage will be released on this invoice in JobPlanner.
