Move Inspection Items Overview
This help pertains to moving individual Inspection Items. Sections can also be moved, see Inspection Templates - Move Sections.
Inspection Items can be moved up or down within the section they are in or moved to a completely different section.
The items will be renumbered once the move is done.
To move and re-organize the Inspection Items:
- Click and hold the cursor on the Move tool
for the row to be moved. Each Inspection row will have the Move tool displayed in the first column. - Drag it to the new position. The screen will show where it will be placed. Release the mouse button to drop it in the new location.
The section(s) will be renumbered to include the item.
Moving Items within the same section
Inspection Items can be moved within the same section (to change the order within that section)
Moving Items to a new same section
The Inspection Item can be moved to a new section. Just drag it into the position in the new section.

OR
Click the Save
button when all the changes have been made.
OR
Click the Close
button to not make the changes.
OR
If editing the template, to delete the Template directly from this form, click the Delete
button. (this does not appear on the Add form)
