Inspection Templates - Move Sections

Move Inspection Items Overview

This help pertains to moving a Section entirely along with all the Inspection Items in it. Individual Inspection Items can also be moved, see Inspection Templates - Move Inspection Items.

Sections can be moved up or down.

The Sections will be renumbered once the move is done.

To move and re-organize the Sections

A best practice before moving Section is to collapse all the sections, to see only the Section Titles and not all the individual items within a Section (but this is not required to move a Section)

Collapse all the Sections.
Click and hold the cursor on the Move tool for the Section row to be moved. Each Section row will have the Move tool displayed in the first column.
Drag it to the new position. The screen will show where it will be placed. Release the mouse button to drop it in the new location.

The section(s) will be renumbered to show its new location.

A Section can be moved to be the first section in the list.

The following is an example of moving a Section when they are not collapsed.

Continue adding or editing Sections and/or Inspection Items, see More Information below.
OR
Click the Save button when all the changes have been made.
OR
Click the Close button to not make the changes.
OR
If editing the template, to delete the Template directly from this form, click the Delete button. (this does not appear on the Add form)
