Projects - Overview

Project State

Projects can be in one of three different states:

  • Active - Active means it remains as a project in the Active project list. Generally, this would be for projects that are actively being worked on (these projects can then be set as favorites to always appear at the top of the list).
  • Archived - the project is no longer active and not being worked on, but is retained for historical purposes. There are a few items that can be seen in read only mode, but in order to modify the project and work on it as normal, it would have to be restored to active status.
  • In Recycle Bin - the project is put in a Recycle Bin and can then be permanently deleted from the Recycle Bin.

When a project is added, it is by default set as "Active".

An Active project can be Archived or put in the Recycle Bin.

An Archived project can be restored to be Active again or it can be moved to the Recycle Bin.

If a project is in the Recycle Bin, it can be restored (so it becomes an Active project again) or it can be permanently deleted.

Deleting a Project is a two step process, first it is moved to the Recycle Bin, then it can be permanently removed once it is in the Recycle Bin. Once it is deleted, it can not be recovered.
