Projects - Overview

Projects are the core of JobPlanner. A project along with the Project Contacts can be created. Once a project is created, the following can be uploaded or entered:

  • Drawings
  • Photos
  • Attachments
  • Time cards

As well, Private Messages can be sent by Guest Users to the Project Adminstrator. See Projects - Private Messages.

In addition, Field Tools can be utilized to create and manage:

  • Action Items
  • Punch List items
  • Schedules
  • RFIs
  • Submittals
  • Daily Reports

Job Costing is also managed, with the ability to:

  • Setup Cost Codes
  • Create Contracts
  • Enter Direct Costs
  • Setup and Manage the Budget
  • Enter Commitments
  • Manage Invoicing


  • Messages can be sent
  • Bid Forms can be managed

Projects can be viewed in lists or viewed individually.

For each Project there is Dashboard which displays summary information about the project.
