Edit/View Project Contacts - Guest User Types

Project Contact and Companies can be edited and viewed from different places in the system. See above.

The edit/view form displays differently depending on where it is invoked from and what type of user is being edited.

This is the edit form for editing an individual Guest User Type

Note* Other users for the same Company can't be edited from this form. To edit/view a Company and all its users; see Contacts – Accessing the list of Contacts.

Some Company information can also be viewed or edited from this form.

Guest User Type Form Layout

There are four sections on the Edit/View Project Contact form for Guest User Types:

  • Notifications and Permission
  • Active/non-Active
  • Contact Details
  • Additional Details
  • User Details
  • Delete
  • Save and Cancel
Notifications and Permissions

At the top right of the form, there are Notification and Permission buttons where Notifications and permissions for this specific user for this project can be viewed or edited.

  1. Click on the button. The appropriate form appears.
Active/Non-Active

A Contact can be active or not active. If it is set to non active, it will appear in Contacts Lists with a strike thru font. This is just a visual indicator to indicate the Contact has been set to non active. It can still be selected. See Contact - Setting to Active or In-Active for more information on the field and how it is used.

To toggle the active setting on/off, click on either the slider bar or the Active text.

Contact Details

The rest of the top part of the form is the general Company and Contact details for easy viewing and editing.

Some fields can be turned on or off to display by the Administrator, so not all fields may appear for all organizations.

Additional Details

The bottom part of the form contains additional information in a collapsed view:

  1. Each grey header bar can be clicked on to view additional information.
  2. Click on the grey header bar again to collapse it.

Some fields can be turned on or off to display by the Administrator, so not all fields may appear for all organizations.

In addition, custom fields can be added for the company and/or the Contact. If there are custom fields set, they will appear in an Additional Company Details section and Additional Contact Details section.

Save the Company/Contact Details

Click Save to save any changes

OR

Click Cancel to cancel changes.

User Details

The bottom part of the form contains User specific Details pertaining to this user accessing the system. See Edit/View Project Contact - Guest User Types - User Details.

Delete (remove from being a Project Contact)

A contact can be removed from being a Project Contact directly on this form. There is a Delete button at the bottom right of the form. See Edit Project Contact - Company User Types - Delete for more details.
