Upload or Delete Files

On the Contracts General form, there are multiple places where files can be uploaded. See Contract – New - Form Layout and Navigation or Contract – View/Edit - Form Layout and Navigation for more information.

Anytime files can be uploaded, there will be a blue dotted line box with the text Drop files or click to upload.

Depending on whether files have already been uploaded or not or the upload function was previously clicked, the box may appear slightly differently.

The following is how the box appears if no documents have been uploaded and the function has not yet been clicked:

The following is how the box appears if a document has been uploaded or the function previously clicked:

To Upload Documents
  1. If no documents have been uploaded and the function has not yet been clicked, click anywhere within the box to invoke the upload

OR

If a document has been uploaded or the function previously clicked, click on the click here to upload text to invoke the upload

  1. Select one or more files to upload

Double click on a single file to select it

OR

Select multiple files by holding down the Shift button and clicking on the Files and then selecting Open

OR

Drag and drop individual files into the Files box.

OR

Drag and drop multiple files into the Files box.

Note* Directly after an upload but before the information is saved, the Files can't be viewed (they can be deleted) but not viewed until after the Save.

  1. Add, Edit or View additional information on the Contract as required, see More Information below.

OR

Click the Save button to save all the files and all the information on the General, Schedule of Values and Financial Markup forms.

OR

Click the Save & Email button to save all the files and save all the information on the General, Schedule of Values and Financial Markup forms and send an email with a link to the Contract in JobPlanner and also the Contract added as an attachment in PDF format, and with the Default Company signature and date).

OR

Click the Close button to close the form without saving the information.

To delete an Attachment
  1. Hover on the File to delete
  2. Click on the delete button on the item. The file will be removed.
  1. Add, Edit or View additional information on the Contract as required, see More Information below.
    OR
    Click the Save button to save all the files and all the information on the General, Schedule of Values and Financial Markup forms.
    OR
    Click the Save & Email button to save all the files and save all the information on the General, Schedule of Values and Financial Markup forms and send an email with a link to the Contract in JobPlanner and also the Contract added as an attachment in PDF format, and with the Default Company signature and date).
    OR
    Click the Close button to close the form without saving the information.
