Overview Work Areas

This section is used to setup the location or work areas that the Contact works in. This is used for easy selecting of Contacts when sending invitations to bid as well as sending other types of messages.

A Contact can be assigned to multiple work areas.

If a Company has more than one Contact, each Contact can be assigned to different work areas.

There are two ways to assign areas where a Contact does work:

  • By selecting the Country, State, County (if US) or by Country and Province (if Canada)
  • Zip Code and distance from that zip code

There is also a Map to navigate and view different work areas as they are being setup for reference purposes.

Once a work area is added, it is displayed in a list and can be viewed, searched on and removed if required.

To setup, view and maintain Work Areas
  1. Ensure the View/Add/Edit Contact form is displayed. See Add a Contact or View or Edit an Existing Contact
  2. Click on the grey Work Areas bar to expand it out. (it is nearer to the bottom of the form after the contacts).

The form has various sections:

  • Map that can be navigated to view different areas
  • A section where the work areas are identified and added
  • The list of existing work areas that can be viewed, search and maintained
