Editing an RFQ in the Revise Status
RFQs can be set to a Revise Status. This is manually set by the Project Manager/Estimator to indicate the Project Manager/Estimator is either negotiating with the Subcontractor/Vendor over price, schedule or other factors or something has changed and the RFQ is pending a revised Response.
This is not an automatic status setting, it is set manually by the Project Manager/Estimator.
When the Status is set to Revise, a revised request for response can optionally be sent to the Company/Contact.
Once an RFQ is in a Revise Status:
- A request to respond to the RFQ can be sent to the Company/Contact.
- The General Information can not be changed.
- Attachments can be Viewed but not Uploaded or Deleted.
- The Response can be viewed or updated.
